1960 - Harold M. Zimmerman designed the first Mobile Concrete Mixer.
1962 - Irl Daffin begins process to purchase manufacturing rights.
1964 - First " Concrete-Mobile " unit released.
1968 - Harold M. Zimmerman developed and designed concrete pump, Morgan Manufacturing utilizes design.
1974 - Harold M. Zimmerman designed Asphalt Mobile for Daffin Industries.
1976 - Manufacturing rights purchased by Suguie for production in Japan.
1978 - After production of approximately 2000 " Concrete Mobiles ", Irl Daffin sells business to Barber-Greene.
1979 - Harold M. Zimmerman designs " Second Generation " volumetric mixers, obtains patents.
1981 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. produces first ZM-300 unit.
1983 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. produces ZM-200 and ZM-400 units.
1986 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. delivers 100th unit.
1986 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. delivers 1st unit to United States Government.
1987 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. produces ZM-600, 100 yd+ per hour.
1987 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. produces ZM-100 and ZM-800 units.
1987 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. delivers units to United States Navy.
1988 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. produces first Environmental Machine.
1989 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. introduces second generation 200 and 400 "N" series models.
1991 - ACI approves 304.6 R-91, Guide For The Use Of Volumetric Mixers.
1991 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. delivers units to United States Air Force.
1991 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. delivers ZM-4000 "Wet Flyash" unit.
1992 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. ZM-600 second generation introduced.
1993 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. produces "Front Discharge" unit.
1994 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. produces ZM-700 Gunite unit.
1996 - US Patent granted to Harold M. Zimmerman on January 23rd for auger design improvement.
1996 - US Patent granted to Harold M. Zimmerman on September 3rd for telescopic discharge chute.
1998 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. delivers 500th unit.
1999 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. is founding member of VMMB.
1999 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. expands facility, by 31,000 square feet, including state of the art paint booths.
2000 - VMMB granted affiliate status with NRMCA.
2001 - VMMB releases Volumetric Mixer Standards.
2001 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. meets all VMMB requirements.
2001 - Harold Zimmerman retires from daily business operations.
2002 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. holds 1st Volumetric Mixer Operators School.
2002 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. holds 1st Latex Modified Operators School.
2002 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. obtains CE Certification for Europe.
2003 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. holds 1st Volumetric Mixer Operators School in California.
2004 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. produces 3 aggregate bin units.
2005 - Zimmerman Industries, Inc. builds 1000th Unit.
2006 - ZII delivers 1st units to Australia – every continent now represented.
2007 - ZII Training School certified by NRMCA, accepted into curriculum.
2009 - ZII opens new facility – ZII WEST – to service the west coast.
