Zim-Mixers® are being used all over the world in many applications.  The most common usages are listed below.  There are many more possible uses of a Zim-Mixer®, the sky is the limit.

Construction

Zim-Mixers® are being used all over the world to supply concrete for foundations, slabs, and walls in the building industry.  They are also being used to supply concrete for bridges, dams, roadways, airports, railroads, and the mining industry.

Municipal

Zim-Mixers® are purchased by many municipalities to supply concrete for their own use which allows for better cost control of materials and labor usage.  Curb, sidewalk, street repair as well as filling trenches with flowable fill or other controlled low strength materials are the most common uses for the Zim-Mixer®.

Precast

Zim-Mixers® produce quality high performance concrete for the precast industry.  Polycarboxylate admixtures may be used for SCC (self consolidating concrete).  Units may be skid, trailer, or truck mounted.

Residential

The Zim-Mixer® retail users supply most of the concrete to the residential market.  Foundations, slabs, walls, curbs, sidewalks, driveways, decorative, and stamped concrete are typical usage items.  Concrete, gunite, shotcrete are also used for hot tub and pool installations.

Specification

Zim-Mixers® are used to supply Latex Modified Concrete, Rapid Setting Concrete, Iowa Low Slump Concrete, Roller Compacted Concrete, D.O.T. concrete, Pervious Concrete, Soil Stabilization Concrete and many others.  Fly Ash, Slag, Silica Fume, and other pozzolans may be blended into the mixes.
