For over six decades, Zimmerman Industries has proudly remained a family-owned and operated company. Located in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, we continue to serve the world with our advanced concrete solutions.

THE ZIM-MIXER

Since May 2023, Gerry has provided strategic leadership as CEO and President of Zimmerman Industries, leveraging over 25 years of domestic and international management experience in distribution and manufacturing companies. His career includes senior leadership roles such as CIO and Senior VP at VWR International, LLC, and significant contributions to the manufacturing pharmaceutical industry. Gerry earned his Bachelor’s degree from Canisius College and his MBA from the State University of New York.

CEO AND PRESIDENT

Gerard “Gerry” Christian

Joan, a pivotal force at Zimmerman Industries since 1981, collaborated closely with her father, founder Harold Zimmerman, to build the company’s foundation. Her leadership spanned finance, human resources, office management, and marketing, contributing significantly to its success. Currently, she continues to be a driving force, concentrating on strategic marketing initiatives.

VICE PRESIDENT

Joan Zimmerman Stoner

Erica has two decades of comprehensive experience in the banking industry. She developed a deep understanding of financial analysis, credit risk assessment and risk mitigation. Erica joined Zimmerman Industries in May of 2024 and is thriving in the manufacturing environment. She is adept at making data driven decisions to guide growth and profitability. Erica has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Central Penn School of Business.

Erica Aughinbaugh

Phil joined Zimmerman Industries in 2007, bringing with him strong technical and leadership skills honed during his time in the Navy. He expertly directs the Service Department and QC processes, implementing best practices and strategies that prioritize customer satisfaction and foster lasting relationships. Phil's extensive training includes completion of US Navy Aviation Support Equipment Technician, Advanced Mobile Electric Power Plants, and Support Equipment Maintenance Manager Schools.

Phil Strogan

Tim has a long and extensive background with Zimmerman Industries. In 1999 he started his career in the Engineering Department and has a widespread understanding of the manufacturing and design of the Zim-Mixer volumetric concrete mixer. Through the years he has been an important part of company and has served in various capacities; his current area of focus is plant management.

PLANT MANAGER

Tim Hultzapple

Bret joined Zimmerman Industries in 1996 with a background in large equipment manufacturing and design. With over 40 years of experience, Bret is responsible for overseeing the Engineering Department, implementation of new technologies and custom projects, as well as confirming that the Zim-Mixer design meets quality and performance standards expected by the customer and the industry.

Bret Finney

Laszlo has a long and extensive background and knowledge base in the concrete industry. He joined Zimmerman Industries in 1999 after working with McNeilus Truck Manufacturing as their Northeast Service Director. His primary responsibility is to conduct on site or classroom training on the maintenance, calibration and operation of the Zim-Mixer. Laszlo has been contributory to the volumetric industry by serving on the ASTM C09 Concrete and Concrete Materials Committee and assisted with the development of the Volumetric Operators Certification program offered by the VMMB.

Since joining Zimmerman Industries in 2004, following three years of service in the Army, Nate has been a constant presence in the Parts Department. He is the 'go-to' expert for parts sales, possessing deep knowledge of Zimmerman products. Nate's dedication to providing timely and accurate parts ensures minimal customer downtime.

Nate Paul

Dave has an extensive background working with large equipment manufacturers. He joined Zimmerman Industries in April of 2015 after spending the majority of his career at American LaFrance. Dave negotiates purchasing contracts and secures quality componentry in a timely manner. He states that “he is brutally honest with a touch of humor”.

Tom’s association with Zimmerman Industries spans decades. While officially joining the team in 2004, he served as an independent representative since 1984. His deep roots in the volumetric industry began in 1973, selling Harold Zimmerman’s original design for Daffin Industries. Tom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from City University of New York.

Tom Maffucci

Joining Zimmerman’s sales team in May 2022, Chad brings extensive experience from the ready-mix concrete industry, including roles at Argo USA and Coastal Concrete. His technical expertise is underscored by his ACI Field Technician Certification, complementing his academic foundation from the University of Tennessee.

SOUTHEAST SALES

Chad Smith

Dustin joined Zimmerman Industries in October 2024, bringing with him over 17 years of sales expertise in the concrete construction industry, gained at TXI and Martin Marietta. He holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.

SOUTHWEST SALES

Dustin Alexander

To drive the growth of the Zim-Mixer product line in Latin America and the Caribbean, Zimmerman Industries welcomed Felix in January 2025. His 17 years of sales experience, with five years focused on the volumetric concrete industry, combined with his Bachelor's and Master of Science degrees in Industrial & Professional Technology from Indiana State University, make him well-equipped for this role.

LATIN AMERICA/CARIBBEAN SALES

Felix Delgado

With a strong foundation in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and welding systems, Kevin joined Zimmerman Industries in February 2022. He now leads the Service Department, offering expert troubleshooting and ensuring exceptional customer support.

SERVICE SUPERVISOR

Kevin Pennabaker

Kristen is a human-resources professional with nearly 15 years of experience, specializing in the manufacturing industry for the last decade. She enjoys the challenges of a manufacturing environment and excels at finding the ideal candidates for specific roles. Kristen holds a PHR Certification and a bachelor's degree from Lebanon Valley College.
