On Site Training

Every new Zim-Mixer purchase includes two days of dedicated operator training. This covers essential maintenance, operation, and calibration of your Zim-Mixer, providing instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on opportunities for every owner and operator.

Training School - Credited Course

Boost the profit and productivity of your Zim-Mixer by attending our annual, three-day Operators Training School. This comprehensive course blends classroom instruction, live demonstrations, and hands-on opportunities to provide a robust learning experience. Each session features a mix of Zimmerman personnel and industry experts, ensuring a rich learning environment with ample question and answer periods to address all applications. Whether you’re a new operator or a seasoned professional, this course is designed for you. Attendees receive a comprehensive manual and a certificate of completion. This class is proudly accredited by the National Ready-Mix Concrete Association (NRMCA).

Training Videos

Zimmerman Industries offers three informational videos as part of our comprehensive training program. These videos serve as an excellent introduction for new operators and a valuable refresher for those who’ve had prior training. Basic Maintenance

Learn how to maintain your Zim-Mixer with this detailed video, which clearly demonstrates and explains all daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance procedures.

Calibration

This video clearly demonstrates and describes the complete calibration process for your Zim-Mixer. It guides the operator through performing the physical calibration and using that data to set the unit for your desired mix design. You'll also receive a calibration manual filled with sample and blank worksheets to aid in the process.

Operations

This video guides operators through the entire concrete production process with a Zim-Mixer volumetric mixer. It covers everything from arriving on the job site and positioning the unit to setting gates and meters for your desired mix design. Also included are detailed instructions on material production, delivery techniques, post-delivery unit cleaning, and how to ensure customer satisfaction.

Zim-Mixer Manual

The Zim-Mixer owner’s manual is available in both hard copy and digital formats. Each section—Operations, Maintenance, Service, Parts, and Schematics—provides detailed descriptions and step-by-step instructions, complete with helpful pictures and drawings. This manual is serial number specific to your individual Zim-Mixer, ensuring accurate and relevant information.
